ReelManns Fishing Guide Service

ReelMann's Fishing Guide is owned and operated by Jack Mann. He grew up in Bridgeport TX and has loved fishing all his life. Jack owns a 2021 Carolina Skiff 19ls that is perfect for taking out groups of anglers and families. On your trip we will be targeting white bass and hybrid stripped bass. Our family creates artificial lures to use on your trip so that no live bait is needed. We are currently offering guided fishing trips for Lake Bridgeport Friday-Sunday only. Lake Bridgeport is located some 45 miles northwest of the City of Ft. Worth and about 5 miles west of the City of Bridgeport, in Wise County. He is always willing to search the entire lake for that perfect fishing spot. Check out our Instagram for pictures! Please see the Website for any additional information.

Lake Bridgeport

Fishing Report from TPWD (Feb. 19)

GOOD. Water slightly stained; 45 degrees; 8.99 feet below pool. The recent cold snap has dropped the water temps back into the 40s. All ramps are open. Sand bass and hybrids are good on deadsticking with soft plastics. As warmer temperatures return, slabs should become more effective. Do not be afraid to move around as the fish have been all over the lake. The fish have been north one day and back in the main lake the next. Catfish are good on cut bait in the north end and the mouth of the river. Crappie are slowly moving into prespawn mode. Check deep brush piles, docks and deep water near the bridge pilings may hold fish. Warmer weather will have the fish moving shallower before too long. Report by Keith Bunch, Lake Bridgeport Guide Service.
