Lake Bridgeport

Fishing Report from TPWD (Dec. 31)

GOOD. Water stained; 52 degrees; 8.37 feet below pool. Sand bass and hybrids can be found near main lake structures. Deadsticking soft plastic baits may put a few in the boat. Working Gulls may help you find feeding fish. Crappie continue to be slow, try offshore brush piles or deep water in front of main lake docks. Check way up in the backs of coves for Largemouth Bass, find the bait, find the fish. Swimbaits are the go to lures. Catfish continue to be good on cut and prepared baits. The north end has been best. All ramps are open. Report by Keith Bunch, Lake Bridgeport Guide Service.
