Water Level Details
GOOD. Water stained; 55 degrees; 9.03 feet below pool. Lake Bridgeport is around nine feet low. The water is stained with temperatures in the mid 50s. All ramps are open. Hybrids and sand bass are finally starting the spawning run. Look in the north end where the river enters the lake. These fish are sensitive to weather changes and may move in and out from day to day. Soft plastics and slabs will put them in the boat. Crappie are in pre-spawn mode also, females are deeper while the males may be quite a bit shallower. Check docks and nearby deeper water to find them. Largemouth bass are moving up too. Look at the mouths of coves near known spawning areas. They may be shallower in the north end of the lake. Swimbaits and flat billed cranks are good baits to start with.
